Welcome to H.O.S.T. Transition Services
H.O.S.T. is dedicated to helping all offenders as well as their families and other supporters. Our primary focus is for sex offenders because they are the one group of offenders that don't currently receive any type of support. We are advocates for all sex offender issues including sex offender residency restrictions which restrict the eligibility for sex offender housing, sex offender registration, and sex offender supervision including probation, parole, or CRD (conditional release).
H.O.S.T. does not condone any form of criminal activity. What we support is the transition of offenders who are law abiding and committed to changing their life for the better. Offenders are in your community, the choice to support them or not is yours. We feel that supporting offenders is not only beneficial to them, but perhaps more importantly beneficial to the entire community. Giving them a chance at success is what reduces their risk of reoffending. Denying them a chance at success is what increases their risk of reoffending.
H.O.S.T. Transition Services provides sex offender housing, sex offender transition consulting and sex offender resources for offenders recently released or soon to be released.
We turn problems into solutions and offer more than a wish for good luck and a handshake. Immediate issues usually relate to sex offender housing, and there are other resources out there. Unfortunately there are many ongoing issues beyond sex offender housing that seldom get addressed.
Some of the sex offender transition issues we cover provide assistance with immediate food, clothing, and hygiene items. There are legal obligations to fulfill such as staying current with probation, FDLE registrations and DMV requirements. We are not lawyers but we do provide sex offender consulting to assist in legal compliance.
There are also long-term goals to accomplish financially such as obtaining employment or assistance with a business of your own. We certainly handle the sex offender housing needs of our clients. We do not stop there. That is only the beginning.
We offer everything from free consulting to extensive transition services, whether a new residence is needed or not. When you have questions, we give answers.
Our website is absolutely free to use for research about sex offender advocacy, research related to sex offender housing, sex offender residency restrictions, sex offender registration or sex offender supervision.
